MELF Anti Surge Resistors

Surge Protective Devices are designed to protect against transient surge conditions. Large single surge events, such as lightning, can reach hundreds of thousands of volts and can cause immediate or intermittent equipment failure. However, lightning and utility power anomalies only account for 20% of transient surges.

SRM resistor utilizes special conductive film that enhances anti-surge capability and absorbs harmful surge, MELF packaging is capable of high power handing & SMD-enabled alternative to axial wire-wound resistor, it could be reflow or wave soldered. Hoch - Impulsfester Spezial - Dünnschicht – MELF Widerstand.

Der Widerstands Hersteller FIRSTOHM stellt mit der hoch impulsbelastbaren MELF-Serie SRM eine Alternative zu den Carbon MELF-Widerständen CMA 0204/CMB 0207 vor.
Diese Impulsfesten MELF-Widerstände verfügen über eine Leistung von 0,25 W bis 3W, einen Widerstandsbereich von 0,1 Ω bis 2,2 MΩ, sowie einer Toleranz von ±1% ~ ±5%. Die max. Stoßspannung liegt bei 10KV. Geprüft und zertifiziert wurde die SRM – Serie nach AEC-Q200; DIN EN IEC 62368-1 (VDE 0868-1):2021-05 Anhang/Annex G.10; EN IEC 62368-1:2020+A11:2020 Anhang/Annex G.10 (außer Typ SRM204) VDE-Lizenznummer 40043961, VDE-Lizenznummer 40054118.
